Meet Therapist Sarah Lodato
Sarah is a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Associate Counselor who recognizes that coping with mental health issues and life stressors can be difficult. She also understands that seeking help and being vulnerable can be intimidating, especially for people who are new to therapy. Sarah is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where she employs a strengths based approach to empower her clients.
With a background as a school counselor, Sarah has extensive experience working with adolescents and their families. In her private practice work, she specializes in helping adolescents and adults navigate a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, loss, relationship issues, and life transitions such as separation, divorce, and career or educational needs.
In her work, Sarah utilizes evidenced based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Utilizing these modalities, Sarah helps clients identify and reflect on patterns, develop coping skills and solutions, and manage symptoms they may be experiencing. Sarah values a collaborative and flexible approach to accommodate each client’s unique needs and strives to help her clients improve their emotional well-being and achieve personal growth.
