Meet Therapist Selena Lindamood
As a therapist, Selena’s primary goal is to nurture a trusting and genuine therapeutic alliance where clients feel empowered to embrace their emotions openly and work towards positive change. She is particularly passionate about assisting adolescents and adults who are struggling with anxiety, stress, burnout, self-esteem hurdles, or who are facing difficulties adapting to significant life transitions such as beginning college, a new career, or becoming a parent. She has extensive experience supporting individuals with anxiety disorders, depression, and adjustment disorders.

Selena embraces an integrative approach that blends person-centered, relational, cognitive behavioral and mindfulness-based techniques. Therapy sessions are tailored to meet each client's specific needs. She works with clients to explore how past and present experiences shape their current reality, gain self-awareness, improve emotional regulation, reduce distressing symptoms, and nurture the self-confidence needed to identify and move towards future goals.

Selena believes that therapy should be a safe, non-judgemental space where clients receive unconditional support. This environment allows Selena and her clients to collaborate effectively to make changes in their lives. She maintains an inclusive and trauma-informed perspective to ensure a supportive environment for all individuals. When appropriate, she incorporates mindfulness and mind-body awareness practices. In sessions, this might look like guided breathing exercises or meditation/visualization.
